Learn a new language for free online!

The Simcoe County District School Board offers children in Grade 1 to 8 an opportunity to learn and/or maintain a language other than French or English. Whether you enroll your children in this program to learn a new language, understand a new culture, or to extend their knowledge of their first language, every student can benefit from this program.

Registration instructions will be posted when the program start date is confirmed.

Students enrolled in Grade 1 to 8 are eligible to enroll in this program.

If the language of your interest is not listed, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]

There is no cost for this program; however, there must be a minimum number of students per language in order to offer the class. Most classes fill quickly and are established on a first come, first served basis.

If you are a high school student interested in volunteering with the International and Indigenous Languages Program, please submit a resume and cover letter to [email protected]. Specify your proficiency in the language that you are interested in helping with. A reference from your school will be required.
