Learn a new language for free!
The Simcoe County District School Board offers children in Grades 1 to 8 an opportunity to learn and/or maintain a language other than French or English. Whether you enrol your children in this program to learn a new language, understand a new culture or to extend their knowledge of their first language, every student can benefit from this program.
Students enrolled in Grades 1 to 8 are eligible to enrol in this program.
Barrie: Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, Korean, German, Spanish, Ukrainian
Bradford: Arabic, Tamil, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Vietnamese

is no charge for this program; however, we must have a minimum number
of students per language in order to offer the class. Most classes
fill quickly and are established on a first come, first served basis.
you are a high school student interested in volunteering with the
International Language Program, submit a resume and cover letter to Amanda Hickling at firstname.lastname@example.org Please
specify the proficiency in the language that you are interested in
helping with. A reference from your school will be required. We thank
all applicants; however, only successful candidates will be contacted
for an interview.
