Night school programs offer secondary school credits in a variety of subjects for students completing their Ontario Secondary School Diploma and for students who are preparing for post-secondary education.

Program Structure

Night School Programming will operate on Tuesday and Thursday or Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. All courses will use D2L/The SCDSBHub and will run online. Classes will be synchronous and students will be required to log on during course hours for live lessons. There will also be asynchronous course components.

Registration Information

Students currently attending a school in the Simcoe County District School Board:

Register for Night School programs through the guidance counsellor at your SCDSB secondary school.

Students currently attending a school outside the Simcoe County District School Board: 

Register for Night School programs at your local SCDSB Learning Centre. You are required to have a piece of government issued ID and a copy of your high school transcript as well as a completed registration form with signed approval from your home school guidance counsellor.

Adult Students:

Register for Night School programs at your local SCDSB Learning Centre. You are required to have a piece of government issued ID and a copy of your high school transcript. 

You may be closer to a high school diploma than you think! 

Night school students may also be eligible for maturity/equivalency or prior learning assessment (PLAR) credits.
