Registration for Night School 2017/2018 opens May 3, 2017. The registration form can be found by clicking the link to the right.

Night school programs offer secondary school credits in a variety of subjects for students completing their Ontario Secondary School Diploma and for students who are preparing for post-secondary education. Subjects include:

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
  • Physics
  • Social Science
  • History

Classes run based on sufficient enrollment.

Program Structure

All night school courses (with the exception of international languages) are offered in a blended format where students attend in-class sessions once per week and complete the remainder of their weekly work through online modules. As a result, students need access to a computer and reliable high-speed internet.

  • English and Science classes take place on Tuesday nights from 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Mathematics and Social Science/History classes take place on Thursday nights from 6 to 9 p.m.

Students will only be contacted by the Learning Centre staff if their course is cancelled due to lack of enrolment. Teachers will collect the $50 cash refundable textbook deposit on the first night of class. The $50 will be refunded on the last night of class when the text is returned.

You may be closer to a high school diploma than you think!

Night school students may also be eligible for maturity/equivalency or prior learning assessment (PLAR) credits.
